These flowers come in various colours and hues and provide a beautiful bush feature to your outdoor landscaping! 

Mint

Mint is the ideal plant for the beginner gardener. It is a perennial herb that spreads widely among your garden – so be aware! If you would like to keep it contained, plant it in a basin or an outdoor container. Whichever you choose, mint is an excellent addition to meals, so it will look good and taste great! Plus, it basically grows by itself.

Coneflower

Coneflower is a drought-tolerant plant that will look beautiful even if you ignore it all season long. Coneflowers are one of the few plants that thrive in poor soil! Its beautiful purple-lilac colour is not just for looks – it attracts pollinators and repels any deer in the vicinity. With regular rainfall, you’ll never have to water your cornflower plant – making it the perfect low maintenance flower. 

Texas Ranger

Also known as wild lilac, this beautiful flower is perfect for adding some curb appeal to your home. Plant it in sunlight, and it will only need water in times of drought (a rare occurrence in Ontario). This surprisingly low-maintenance plant isn’t costly either – find it on Etsy for under $20.
