I’m Erin, and my husband is Dan. I am a law clerk and Dan works in telecommunications in the downtown core. Dan and I are newlyweds and currently renting a single bedroom condominium. The condo is more suited for bachelor living and we need more space for ourselves. Pricing on new downtown locations was outside of our budget so we expanded our search to include the suburbs and Vaughan.

While researching communities in the Woodbridge area I found The Residences at Pebble Creek by Falconcrest Homes. As I researched the area, I was delighted to see that it was set in a naturally forested area and was only moments away from Woodbridge Village. Keeping our commute to the office easy and convenient will be a breeze with the planned expansion of the TTC subway line to Vaughan and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station. Dan and I visited the sales centre at Pebble Creek and met with Mauro and Jenny of Intercity Realty and looked at the executive townhomes that made up this new exclusive community. Mauro showed us the plans for each unit and helped us find the best fit for our needs. The Ravine was a perfect fit. It is an end unit that offers 2121 square feet of living space (elev. A), three bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms with an option to have the basement finished and a 3rd full bathroom added. Pebble Creek also offers a large variety of optional upgrades to personalize our new home.

The Ravine is a corner unit and has a covered porch entrance (Elevation A) and opens to a tiled foyer with a large closet area. Ahead of you are the staircases made of stained oak that lead to the main level and a second set of stairs to the basement and at the rear of the house a beautifully sized rec room with solid oak strip flooring. To the left of the rec room, there is a mudroom with laundry facilities and an entrance to the garage (if the grade permits). The Residences at Pebble Creek have two options for your basement. One is unfinished, and the second option that we chose was to have the basement finished with the 3rd bathroom. We wanted the time to enjoy our home rather than to have to start finishing it ourselves. This room will be a wonderful library and office area for Dan.

On the main level of the home, the stairs lead you to an open concept room that feels very large. Here we have our kitchen that includes a beautiful tiled floor, and granite countertops. Beside the kitchen is a breakfast area and a breakfast bar with sliding doors that lead to our deck. Also on the main level we have our Great Room, which features a sleek electric fireplace that I can’t wait to curl up in front of with a good book. The entire area outside of the kitchen also has hardwood oak strip flooring that adds an incredible warmth to the room. To the front of the main floor is our formal living room and dining room, and, of course, a powder room for guests. Entertaining our friends and family with such a beautiful open concept will be fantastic!

An oak staircase leads to the upper level of the home, you will find three bedrooms including the master bedroom. In the master suite, there is a large walk-in closet and a master ensuite bath that features an oval tub and a separate shower stall. Each of the other bedrooms are very spacious, and they include ample closet space. Centrally located on the upper level is also a full bathroom and a linen closet.
My favorite part of our new home is our roof top terrace. There is an outdoor natural gas BBQ connection on the terrace that Dan is very excited about using next summer. The views from our rooftop terrace are stunning as the lights of Woodbridge twinkle in the distance it is the perfect area to relax and enjoy the outdoors with privacy.

The Residences at Pebble Creek by Falconcrest Homes is located minutes away from one of the area’s best-kept secrets which is Woodbridge Avenue. This lovely area hosts many locally owned shops and restaurants and a seasonal farmers market. Everything we will need in a beautiful community.
